"On October 9th 2009 I let my friend Dean and his wife Susie take my Electra Glide to Nashville for the weekend so they could take all they needed for the weekend in the bagger and they could not put it all on his Street Bob. They got into Nashville late after riding through a hellacious storm on the way over. They were going to ride in a benifit poker run on Saturday for Dean's best friend who went down on I-40 a little over a month ago on his Harley. After the first stop they came out and the bike would not hit a lick, no lights, no nothing and I am 200 miles away. I call HOG get the bike towed to Boswells around 2pm and by 3pm the service department had called Dean and said that a wire had came loose from the battery and it was fixed and ready to go. This is the 3rd time that I have dealt with Boswell HD and each time I have been more than happy with my experience with them. "I bought my new 2009 flhtc in early Aug. 2009 from Bubba Boswell and I must include Justin Perryman as well for he did all he could to make it an easy painless transaction. I am an old customer of Harley Davidson and Boswells and only trade bikes every 10 or more years. I am second generation Harley-Davidson. My Dad rode Harleys before during and after WWII, He was an MP in Patton's Army on XA'a and 45's in the "Battle of the Bulge". He came home and bought and rode Harley's and Indians and raised me. I ordered my first New Harley Davidson while overseas in the service in 1973 and have owned ridden and worked on Shovels ,EVO's and Twin cams. I decided it was time to get a new bike when the 96 cu.in.with the wide back tire came out and I followed one down a long stretch of Tennessee highway. I was impressed. I will admit that when I called Bubba my mind was made up but I had to try and negotiate as good a deal as possible since I was trading in a perfectly good, no exceptionally good, example of Harley Davidson engineering, an EVOflhtc with only 40,000 trouble free miles. I waited until my first service to write this because I wanted to be as accurate as possible when I posted my recommendation and expierience because I have made alot of friends in the motorcycle community around middle Tn. I have never had better treatment or more attention paid to my suggestions than by the service staff at Boswells. They went the extra mile to make sure I was safe and satisfied. Thanks Boswells for another GREAT Expierience as member of the Harley Davidson Community."

"I had my 06 Sportster in last January while under the extended 3 year warranty. The problem was misdiagnosed and presented itself again approx. 7 months and 4,0000 miles later, warranty now expired. Roy was WONDERFUL! He got my bike in within the week and fixed it with no cost to me. Everyone I dealt with at the Cookeville HD Dealer was kind, courteous and extremely helpful. I don't know all their names but this included the mechanic who checked it out when I popped in on a Saturday afternoon, the man behind the service desk and the gentleman in the office out front. The Bike nights and charity rides are agreat. We just went on the Ride for Wishes ride it was one of the best rides I have ever been on the ride it's self was great but I never expected what was waiting at the end of the ride. fresh oysters, giant boiled shrimp, crabcakes, scallops, prime rib sliders, beer wine, and cigars. "In 1988 I bought my first Harley, a Springer Softail from Jerry Crain. I thought it was a restored old bike from the 1940's..no, it was brand new. Since then I have had two Ultra's, a Road king and now a new Heritage Classic Softail I bought them all but one from Boswell's, and that was a fluke. I buy all my parts and service from Rivergate and get some great advice from the parts guys and Shane in service. Jason and Jennifer are truly good folks and it's a pleasure to visit any Boswell's store. I used to ride with the Fessler's Hog club (with the "twins" and a big wrestler guy) and had a blast. Now we are in the Rivergate HOG club and I am signed up for the November '09 experienced rider's course to be sure I am up to date. You can't do business with nicer people...Bubba is the same guy he was over 20 years ago. These are my friends and they treat me the same."

"I have just moved to the Nashville area a few months ago. Last weekend, I went to a dealer in Bowling Green with my brother in law because he wanted to purchase a Night Rod Special after he had been eyeing my Night Rod for months. I would have to say that I was very disappointed in their motorcycle sales staff. When I asked a question about the V-Rod, two motorcycle sales people gave me a blank look about the question and said "I don't know". What got my goat is that the salesman just stood there and did not have any gumption to find out the answer! He did ended up buying the motorcycle there (because of the price and he didn't want to travel any further) but he will not, nor will I, have my motorcycle service there. He also bought a helmet (a unknown helmet company) and it was falling apart during the first ride! No wonder it was 20% discounted! We were at the Boswell's Rivergate store on Friday and the experience is so 180 degree different. The products (mainly the helmets) were not the cheap economy helmets. Yes, they were the Harley Davidson brand which made them pricier, but it didn't fall apart! Jennifer did an outstanding job of getting my brother in law set up for the necessary equipment he wanted and needed. Customer satisfaction and answering questions left us feeling that Boswell's wanted our business and wanted to take care of us. After my brother in law bought this Night Rod Special, Mr. Boswell from the Fessler's Lane store called. He told them he already purchased the motorcycle, they acknowledge that and asked if he would consider them to have it serviced. Now that is impressive! I had a new front tire put on my bike that day as well. The service and parts department took care of me. I am now convinced that Boswell Harley Davidson is my dealer to go to! Keep up the great service! I would suggest to everyone to look no further to purchase a Harley Davidson, parts, or clothes!"

In June I was on a riding vacation and traveling from Gatlinburg to Nashville when I had a gauge act abnormally for me, indicating the the oil pressure was very low. I am not a mechanic nor do I pretend to be so we found your store and stopped to ask for help. I was really amazed at how quickly you and your department got to checking out my bike. While there wasn't anything really wrong, you went out of your way to check it and make sure all was right with my Ultra Classic. I can't tell you how good it feels to know that I can put our lives in hands of people that care, not just about their job, but those that stop with little problems. I believe that was on Wednesday, June 24 of this year. I had every intention of sending a copy of this to H-D customer service but they said they weren't accepting e-mails, but hopefully, at least you and your folks will know that me and my wife was very relieved to know that you folks had given such good and quick attention to my motorcycle. "I just completed the Riders Edge Skilled Riders Course. It was the best instruction I have ever participated in. I already knew the basics and just needed a little work on my "short game". By the time I was done with the course, I was MUCH more confident. The slower turns and menuevering at slow speeds is what I had trouble with. I'm FAR from an expert, and I never will be I'm sure,,, BUT the amount of training and riding I was able to accomplish was in that day was freakin' awesome! James is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best instructor money can buy! I bought a bike from this dealership, I bought accessories from this dealership and I've completed a Riders Edge Course at this dealership. "I had been thinking of buying a bike for sometime. One day last february as i was driving past Boswells of Rivergate i turned around and went inside. As i was looking at the inventory of bikes in the showroom a gentleman walked up and asked if he could help me. He asked me if i know what i'm looking for and i responed back by saying i'll know it when i see it. He then started with each bike telling me a little about them. Bikes had changed a lot since the last one i had twenty-five years ago. I picked the one out i wanted and from there the salesman in this gentleman took off. I was asked to fill out a credit application and as i sat down to fill this application out i remember thinking to myself that it was gonna be a waste of time. Because i had poor credit due to my buisness struggling through some slow times six years ago. As i expected my credit was'nt good enough to get the loan. The gentleman then asked about my wifes credit and if she would co-sign. She was there i thirty min. and filled out the application and left. The credit still did'nt go through so i left feeling that i would'nt be rideing this year. A few days later the gentleman from Boswells called me and asked me to get the phone number to where my wife works so it could be verified how long she had worked there and it would help. I did'nt bother calling him back knowing she had'nt been at that job but a couple of months. Two more days went by and i get another call from the gentleman at Boswells saying come on in because he got it financed. That gentleman at Boswells is a true salesman, he went that extra mile to make the sale. That's the type of salesman i want my salesmen to be. Boswells is a regular stop for me now. I feel beter about spending money with people who call you by name when i walk in. Everyone from sales,service,parts and motoclothes have been awesome. "I found the Boswell,s web site on a Sunday morning. I had been looking for that perfect ride for a long time. I saw a 2006 Electra Glide Classic on their site and sent an email to them. Within an hour on a Sunday Bubba Boswwell replied from his Blackberry, within 3 hours Kyle Boswell had the deal done over the phone and thru email and on Sunday no less. It was a 1200 mile round trip for me to pick up my new ride but was well worth it. Not only did Kyle and company bend over backwards for me but, having been looking for "My Harley" for months I got a fantastic deal!!! Thanks again for all of your help Kyle and company. Customer service seems to be a lost art unless you are working with the folks at Boswell Harley-Davidson. "My Wife and I purchased a 08 Ultra from the Cookeville location. I just have to say that the staff was outstanding, and since have developed a relationship with everyone there that almost family like. I have been to many dealerships in the past 30 years and I assumed that Boswell's of Cookeville was just an exception to the rule. That was until I had to make a trip to the Fessler's lane location to spend the day and have my bike tuned on the dyno. You guys are great, I felt at home in 5 mins. David took care of me and walked me thru the process. Took me back and let me watch for a little bit, and took the time to make sure I understood my choices on tuning. And what a tune it was.... Brad thumbs up buddy!!!! its a different bike WOW did she ever wake up. I just can't say enough about the service that I get from you guys at both locations. "Excellent dealership. I started a serious purchase about 3 years ago (I enjoyed riding HD in the mid 1980's). Met Jim, who guided me along. I was not sure on model XL or FXDL, new or used. I stopped count after sitting on 50 bikes. Jim guided me on differences (rubber mount on the sportsters). He did not care on the new/used side. I took the riders edge class, which I recommend to any new or novice rider (me). Jim and Kelly offered much support and knowledege on how not to get in a wreck. I took test rides. By this time, I had not made any big purchases at the dealership. Lunch on Friday's is under $15 with tip. And I am full through dinner. Catfish is great! At other locations, or when Jim was not there, everyone was helpful. Even when I mentioned I will buy from Jim, the response was if you have any questions, let us know. I never felt it was from a take a sales, it was from a help make a decision. At the time when I could buy, I picked out a XL1200 low. Added some add on's. Jim walked we through the process. I worked with Craig in parts, and Bruce in service. The request was special, to use the roadster panel to have the RPM with the speedo, as well as standard things (windshield, rack, engine guard). They delivered on all everything within the dates they could confirm, as well as the time frame they had no influence (when the parts arrive)."

I pulled in on a Monday morning and the service department could not have been more helpful if they'd tried. "Thank you to Mark and everyone at the Rivergate dealership. Everyone has been extremely patient and helpful everytime I have been there. None of the employees made me feel uncomfortable about asking questions or embarrassed by my lack of knowlege about motorcycles. "Last year I took a motorcycle safety class, got a license and became a first time rider. At the time, the lowest bike I could purchase was an 883L - I am only 5ft tall and being able to plant my feet firmly on the ground was an issue. During the past year, Boswell's has helped me find the best possible ways to "fit" my bike to my needs. I really enjoyed my Sportser and fell in love with riding. "I bought my first Harley from Bubba, June 06, Road King Custom. Bubba asked me what I wanted on it and how I wanted it to sound. I told him to set it up like he was going to be seen on it. To date I just passed the 7,000 mile limit, enjoying every minute and I must say looking great. Everyone talks about the Harley experience/family. I want to talk about Bubba and what he considers family. Not many know that for over 10 years, Boswells Harley and the Tennessee HOG Chapters have provided Christmas for needy children. Every year, without wanting extra praise, the chapters come together and have toy rides and roadblocks to raise money/toys for the Metro Nashville Police Department Christmas Basket Fund. Without Bubba and the HOG Chapters'support our program would be drastically cut. Last year alone they raised over $28,000 for the kids. This money goes to provide toys, bikes, games, school supplies and 4 bushel baskets of food for each family. In 06 we helped 170 families, 30 elderly shut-ins and 10 Alive Hospice families to have a Christmas. Over 400 children knew that there was a Santa. Bubba, members of his family and the HOG Chapters came out to the old prison, where our program is located, at 5am on Chistmas Eve to help load food and toys. They worked with other volunteers to load the toys and food in marked police units for delivery. The last vehicle was loaded at 10am on the way to a needy family. You can't imagine the feeling when you deliver toys and food to a single mother struggling to have 1 present under the tree for her children, not to mention the shut-ins that have no one. So yes, Boswell Harley is the place to shop and have service done, just remember that Bubba knows the true meaning of family and sharing. "

" i just finished my rider's edge course earlier today. i am worn out and sore, but so excited i can hardly sit still, much less wait to get my first bike. i had never operated a motorcyle before this class. after our classroom time, i was terribly nervous about actually putting those principles in the program into practice. hell, i'd never even driven a manual transmission car before , how was i ever going to operate something with just two wheels??? our instructor, bud murphy, was awesome. he was able to communicate the requirements succinctly, and easily, as well as put our fears to rest. bud was approachable, patient, and more than willing to take his time with us. his confidence on the bike, and in the material rubbed off on our whole class. we had a blast. everything we had learned accumulated towards our last day on the range, and our evaluations. the program made a daunting task seem surmountable. james was our eval coach. he was meticulous in his approach, and had not only our best interests at heart, but the greater population of the nashville area's as well.( by making sure we were ready to be unleashed on motorcycles, upon them) the evaluations were tough, but fair. kelly made sure we were as comfortable as could be, in the classroom, and on the range. i cannot thank bud, or my classmates enough for the time and energy spent together over the last few days. i did not think i would ever be on two wheels, the folks at boswell's, and the rider's edge program have both helped me to begin realizing that dream. i feel like i have been shown a whole new world. i don't see how anyone who has never ridden before gets on a bike without taking this course. the entire staff at boswell's were warm, caring, and lots of fun. thank you so very much for a truly great experience. -will bledsoe nashville"

"Considering I have not rode a street bike in over twenty years, most folks would not consider me a biker. Most people buy their home from a builder, purchase shrubs from a landscaper, and get their artwork from an artist. Likewise I wanted to buy my Harley from biker. "An incident that happened to me in July of "06 reiforced my opinion of Bubba Boswell and his entire organization.After 20 yrs of being "bikeless" my wife and I purchased an "04 Heritage softtail.Let me say that I bought my heritage from another dealer-wish I hadn't !!!Bubba told me when I was ready to buy again-come see him Well my wife decided she wanted an '07 Ultra Classic---soooooo we talked to Bubba ,knowing who is the boss in the family he grabbed my wife's hand and told her to come on and pick one out in the back-still in the crate.Well that was on a Thursday and Saturday I picked up my new "07 Ultra Classic.Well four days and seven hundred miles later -I had an incident-bike was totaled -I was unhurt-driver never stopped.The towing insurance I had ,had a thirty mile towing radius,with Bumpus being the closest dealer.They wanted an extra $200.00 to bring it to Boswell's.I called Shane explained the situation..he called Bumpus and they gracefully agreed to let the tow company drop off the bike....Bubba personally picked up the bike the next morning...The bike was so new there wasn't even price books to estimate repair costs.NO REPAIR COST ESTIMATE-NO INSURANCE CHECK.Bubba and others in his organization called Harley and had them expedite the books needed to estimate the cost of the damage.It would be a matter of weeks (7-8)TO get another ultra in the color I wanted.of course I was a little bummed out. Well Jason and Bubba got seriously involved,after about three weeks Jason called me ,he and Bubba "had worked their magic" and found me another bike...I was having some trouble with the insurance settlement...Bubba/Jason called me and said my new bike was in.I explained to them that I didn't have a check,didn't know when I would get one--sooooo they should probably go ahead and sell it.They informed me it was "mine".. about one week later I received a check.I AM POSITIVE THEY COULD HAVE SOLD IT BEFORE I GOT MY CHECK-but they didn't !!! During this whole ordeal from beginning to end everybody in the Boswell's organization really cared ,both about my injuries and the fact I really was bummed about not having a replacement bike.Boswell employees and HOG chapter members called me to check how I was---Thanks to all of you -I really felt like "family !!!!! I'm feel positive that no other dealer would not have gotten so personally involved--to them I would have just been another "cashcow".Bubba,Betsy and every other employee at the dealership---YOU ARE THE BEST"

"5 of us was finishing up a ride for the day when one of the guys said lets go by Boswells, I need to check on my pipes. We pull up and I get off my 2000 Honda Goldwing 1500se. Mark Schmit greets us as we come in. As we start to look around, bam! There she was in Black Denim and just a little chrome. As I got closer I could feel the bike calling to me, come an sit, lets become one. I did and when I sat down very gently grabed the bars, it was over. Mark did the paper work the next morning I traded the wing for the Night Train. It was just ment to be.Thanks Mark and thanks Harley. "The Rider's Edge Course is GREAT! Recently while at the Cookeville location I decided to get signed up for the course. The lady at Boswell's in Cookeville was very helpful and called Kelly in Nashville to get me signed up. Kelly called me when I got back home. She made me feel so very confortable with the process. Kelly informed me of all aspects of the course. (I had NEVER riden a motorcycle before!!) To say the least I was a bit nervous. Bud Murphy was the instructor of the class of 7. All of us were very comfortable with his making us at ease. We spent two evenings in the classroom going over SAFETY first. Saturday morning we were off to the course. Instructions were given to us very throughly, which made starting that motorcycle up and getting going very easy. I did drop the bike, but Bud was there for the rescue. He made sure I was okay. I knew what I did wrong. It was alright that I broke a turn signal. No problem! I passed the written test and riding test on Sunday. Bud was such a through teacher it is unbelieveable that I can now know how to ride SAFELY. I encourage anyone whether it be a experienced rider or beginner to take this course. "Everyone at the Cookeville store is great and easy to talk to. I went in there 3 or 4 times before I decided on a bike. I had been in another dealer, and did not enjoy the experience as well, and went back to Cookeville. Brad and Bud in sales are great guys, and will answer all questions, even when the store is busy, they focus on you. Roy and the guys in service are the same. Roy was the one who actually delivered my bike( 07 Road King Classic ) on a Friday when the place was jumpin, he explained all the bells and whistles, and answered all my questions. When I took the bike in for the thousand mile check up, I talked to Roy about a few things, and again, he gave me all the time I needed, even though his lunch was getting cold! I can honestly say that the whole experience, from "just kickin tires", to sales, to service, was a fun and pleasurable one. I must say a word about the girls that greet you with a smile and a "hello" when you walk in the door. On a recent visit, I looked at a big Hog bank, and a Zippo lighter. A week or so later, I went back to purchase them, and don't you know, they were not to be had. I asked Rebecca when they might get some in. I could only remember that the lighter was chrome, and had a red emblem. She told me to leave my number and she would look into it for me. The first thing the next mourning, I got a call to say both items were waiting for me! It was even the correct lighter! So a special thanks to Tabitha and Rebecca! "I recently purchased an 06 Ultra Classic from a wonderful salesperson by the name of Trina Berrios. I wandered into your Madison dealership just looking around not intending to buy a Harley. I have been riding a Vulcan 1500 and was satisfied. Trina greeted me and just let me look around with her guidance. She knew just how to handle me. I can't be pushed into anything and she did not. She first showed me a Road Glide, but it was just not what I had in mind if I were going to buy a new bike. We strolled into the showroom and she recognized right away that I would be an Ultra Classic buyer by asking me key questions, which she is very good at. I liked a black pearl bike that was on the showroom floor, but was not willing to spend almost $22,000.00. Trina asked for my phone number and said she would give me a call if she got something in that I would be interested in. The very next day, she gave me a call. She had just traded in an 06 ultra with 3,000 miles. Still not persuaded that I wanted to trade I agreed to come by and just take a look. I did and that was it. Trina let me sell myself. I brought my Kaw by and struck up one of the easiest deals that I have had in a long time. She worked very hard for me and I sincerely appreciate it. You have a very valuable employee, in Trina. "Bubba and Jerry have been the best I could have asked for. I was Bubba's first sale in 1980 when I purchased a new Sporster. He was so concerned That I was satisfied with my new Motorcycle, because of the long ride I had to work every day. When I came in for my first Service they recomended a smaller rear sprocket for interstate travel.It really helped to lower the RPMs. My Sporster would run with my cousens Strokers. they were supprised of how fast it ran at low rpms. In 1983 when I moved to Nashville I rented an apartment at Carrage Hill Apartments in Hermitage. I had just put a new leather set of beautiful saddle bags and a set of 2IN Turnouts stright pipes. It was so Hot. After a few weeks there, one morning I got dressed with my Helment on and went outside to find no Motorcycle. It was gone. I never found it. I still owed more than two thousand but I never had any Insurance on it. Years went by and I missed it so. I would visit Boswells just to see the bikes and set on them. Jerry and Bubba were so nice to me and wanted to help but I had no money and terrible Credit. Twenty two years later in Jan 2005. I had some money and I wanted to buy a new Sporster maby a 1200. Jerry saw me walk in and greated me then I saw Bubba he remembered me and shook my hand. That made me feel good, kinda like I was home again with my most loving passion. Jerry said I want you to get what you like the best this time. The prices are lower now. He said Get a Superglide instead of a 1200 Sporster. I took his advice and Purchased a bottom end Superglide. I took it in for my 5000 mi service and saw a Low Rider glemering with chrome it was lava red. I told Jerry I wished I had Bought this one. Jerry said Mark if you want it he would give me everything I paid for the superglide and just pay the differance which was just over 3k.after he cut the retail price on the Lowrider, I bought it. "Bubba, I just want to tell you that I feel that your staff at the Fessler's Lane location is unsurpassed by any company in the retail business that I have ever encountered, and here are just a few of the reasons; After our misunderstanding at your Rivergate store and my conversation with you, you told me to come to see you and you would make things right. Was I ever in for a surprise. When I walked into the Fessler Lane location with my son, Becky at the front counter was expecting me and knew who I was without ever having seen me before. (Apparently she was expecting a man with a 3 year old boy with him.) While I was there I was lusting after a Heritage Classic but decided for the sake of family harmony to buy the Dyna Super Glide. Jim, Jerry and Jason were all great and informative and Jason made the business end of the sale painless. After riding the super Glide for 514 miles and my wife riding with me twice, she fell in love with riding and we decided to get the Heritage Classic. Back to Jason for another transaction.( My 2nd bike in two weeks.) Three members of my church also bought bikes within a three week time period. Last Sunday my Father-in-law bought a 2007 Heritage Classic. On Tuesday He and I came in to take the bike home. He is an experienced rider and asked me to drive it home while he followed in the car. Without going into any detail, I will say that after we got the Classic home, He had an accident and was hurt. From the emergency room he asked me to call Boswell's to get it picked up to be repaired. Jason was off on that day so I talked to Jim and made arrangements. Five minutes later, I got a call on my cell phone, it was Jason calling from home to make sure my Father-in-law was okay. I told Jason that he was being checked out and that I did not call Boswell's for any sense of responsibility on their part. Jason's comment to me was "Lee, that bike is nothing but metal and rubber, is your Father-in-law alright?" The next day we trailered th bike to your shop to leave it for repairs. Justin assured my Father-in-law that his bike would be like new when he finished with it and he would never know it had been in an accident. Every one we talked to had some sort of story about a misshap that they had experienced while riding a motorcycle and they all helped to make him feel better. Bubba, I don't tell you this to relay these events so much as to make sure that you and anyone that might read this understands the CHARACTER of your employees and of you. Jason's comment and his concern spoke volumes about his character and the character of your organization. Everybody that I have come into contact with at Boswell's has gone more than above the call of duty to make sure that my dealings with you are a pleasant experience. Staring with you to sales, to parts, to service, to accessories sales and even to your staff in the grill. Every time I come into your store, I feel like Norm on "Cheers" where everybody knows your name and you feel like part of the family. If I were to start a business, whether it was digging ditches or anything up to and including building rockets or space shuttles, I would want my crew to have the same positive attitude that I have encountered in your crew. "My name is Gregg Patz and I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago Illinois. This past Memorial Day weekend my wife & I were on vacation visiting some friends in Portland TN. On Saturday (5/27/06) we rode into Nashville to go to the big flea market at the fairgrounds. About 3:00 pm we got ready to leave the flea market only to discover that my bike had a flat rear tire. Our friends immediately got on the phone and called several area Harley dealers trying to get my tire fixed so we could get back on the road. Everyone we called told us that they were about to close and that they could not help us until Tuesday (we were leaving to come back to Chicago on Monday). Then we got a hold of David Dill at your dealership. He worked really hard to locate your van and trailer and then he and Andy came to the fairgrounds and picked us up, even though it was after 4:00 pm when they finally got there to get us. They then trailered my bike back to your shop, and fixed my flat tire. Fortunately, it turned out to be a hole in my inner tube and not something more serious. They stayed late and fixed me up so that my vacation was not ruined. Please be sure that these two outstanding employees (and the many others that were involved in the process) are rewarded for their efforts in saving my vacation. There was a day when every Harley dealership would go out of their way to help out a stranded rider, sadly those days are long gone. Today most shops care only about the almighty dollar and the bottom line. However, it is comforting to know that there are still a few shops out there that value the rider more than the dollar. Until that day I had never been to your shop or spent a penny there, but still, you were there for me. You and your employees are to be commended for outstanding customer service. "I would like to tell you how much of a pleasure it was to work with your staff recently at your dealership. I have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years and have bought a few. Most of my dealings with Harley dealerships have been unpleasant to say the least. I have found many of them to be arrogant and self-serving, which is why I was considering buying a Honda VTX or Goldwing. I live outside of Charlotte, NC and my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary at Myrtle Beach, SC and dropped into the dealership there. I have been looking at the Deluxe for some time and like the looks of it. However, the sales people there were inconsiderate like most dealers, not wanting to answer basic questions unless you seem ready to buy. I work for Nashville Auto-Diesel College and periodically come up for business. We decided to drop by your shop about three weeks ago and look at your bikes, expecting the same treatment that we receive at many other dealerships. I was initially talking with Mark Schmit, who was extremely accomodating, but was with another customer. We ended up with Trina Berrios, and though not planning on buying a motorcycle, bought one from your dealership because of them. I work in sales and am used to working with sales people. Trina was not pushy but was extremely patient and helpful. My wife and I looked at two different bikes and decided on the one we bought. Trina and Mark was about 60% of our decision to buy. I could have easily come back to our area and bought, but working with them was such a pleasure, that we decided to give our business where we felt most comfortable. Your sales staff is generous with their time, knowledgeable and most importantly customer friendly. It has been said that a happy customer tells one other person about their experience and an unhappy customer tells ten others about their experience. I believe that. I plan to send you as much business as possible. I would think most serious buyers are willing to make a trip to your location to have the same experence as I. Both Trina and Mark are an asset to your shop. By the way, your service manager is great also. You have a good team. Treat them well and you'll bring in customers further away than Troy, NC! "Anyone seriously interested in buying a Harley should check with Bubba or Jason at Boswell's before making a decision. Most of the dealerships (9 total) I visited were too busy and seemed uninterested in assisting customers. I've told every biker I've come in contact with that it's worth the drive to Nashville to deal with Boswell's Harley. I checked Boswell's website and called Bubba, who impressed me on the phone. My wife and I rode up from Chattanooga on a cold March Saturday morning. I almost fell out when I asked a guy on the floor to speak to Bubba and he replied "I'm Bubba Boswell". He wasn't a salesman; he's the OWNER! He and Jason (the sales manager) took my wife and me to the upper warehouse and within two hours, we left on our new Road King. "On Feb. 13, 2006 I was to report to our local office in Nashville for a week of training. At that point I decided to load my Ultra Classic on my pickup and take it with me. My local Harley dealer loaded it for me. I called one of the Nashville Harley dealers to ask if they would off load my scooter once I got to Nashville. Their comment was "We are not in the loading and unloading business but they supposed they could do me a favor. I then called Boswells and talked to a very helpful young man by the name of David Dill. I ask David the same question. His answer was an immediate and enthusiastic absolutly, and then he volenteered to load it up when I got ready to leave Nashville. I ask him about cost and he just replied it would be a pleasure to help me out. Well I did show up at Boswells on Monday Feb.13. And good to his word David unloaded the scooter with a smile. As he was getting it off of the truck I noticed the rear tire was thinner than I care to ride on. I ask him if he could put a new tire on for me. He said yes he could if I could leave it until Tuesday Feb. 14. We then decided to go ahead and change out the rear brake pads also. Total cost was $300.00 plus and the job was well done. As it turned out I did not have the opportunity or the time to get out for a ride and I finally called David on Friday Feb. 17 to pickup my bike and asked if he had time to load it. Again a enthusiastic absolutly the bike would be ready when I could get there. My wife and I showed up at about 2:30pm to get the bike loaded. It was ready including a wash job and was loaded onto my pick up immediatly upon our arrival. While I was getting my scooter secured for the trip back to Texas my wife did a little shopping and found a dandy Harley leather jacket that she just could not live without, so she purchased the jacket. Now, I know and understand that a Harley shop is not in the loading and unloading busines. However, at least Boswells is in the busness of understanding it's customer base and knows that we as consumers cannot consume if we never get to your store. And enthusiastic help such as David Dill offered a stranger over the phone is what gets them in the door and will keep us coming back, as well as recommending Boswells to our fellow Harley owners. FOLLOWED EVERY FLOW CHART(NO COMPUTER CODE CAME UP).AFTER MUCH HARD WORK AND VERY PROFFESSIONAL SERVICE AND A LOT OF HEAD SCRATCHING AND PURE LUCK THE MECH. "Let me start at the beginning of our relationship with Boswells. In the process of moving to the area from Las Vegas, we called Mark at Rivergate. We needed to ship two bikes and were hoping he would accept delivery for us. He was very friendly and helpful. When the bikes arrived, the weather was less than desirable for riding and the bikes were delivered to our home. Shortly after we arrived, Bill decided he could not live without a Springer. Mark, again, was the best at making the transaction smooth. And, again, our bike was delivered. When I decided to trade in my lowrider for an Ultra Classic, you guessed it; Mark added another star to his crown. Even to the point of provided tissues. It was a tearful moment giving up my baby. Our satisfaction does not stop with Mark. Erin always has a smile and laugh to share. I have not encountered anyone in parts that is not knowledgeable and helpful. And then there is Stan in service. He is the best. He has gone out of his way so many times. Having come from a dealer who is the only game in town and shows it, we are not accustomed to the service he provides.
