FOR 84-99 80 EVOLUTION- Revolutionary cam design for 84-99 80 Evolution only has Multi-Index Gears to offer the versatility of threecam timing settings with one camshaft. One position gives a 4° advance of usual cam timing and another position is 4° retarded of the original timing. An overall 8° timing range is available
- Made in the U.S.A.
H286-2B GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Bolt-in performance that works better with high performance carb and exhaust, offering a noticeable difference throughout the rpm range
- Excellent for speed and touring
- Valve-to-piston clearances must be checked in some early Evolution engines without notched pistons
H290-2 GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Produces strong low-end and mid-range power
- Engine must have higher-than-stock compression ratio or increased displacement up to 88 cu. in.
- Works best in modified engines with headwork performed
H296-2 GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Increases performance in mid- and upper-rpm range
- Valve-to-piston clearances must be checked in some early Evolution engines without notched pistons
H304-2 GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Produces a wide power range in your Evolution
- Engine must have at least 10:1 compression ratio
- Good cam for strokers and motors with up to 95 cu. in.
- Modified heads and high-lift springs required
H306-2 GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Bolt-in performance that increases horsepower in engines with carb and exhaust work, but will work in a stock engine
- Valve-to-piston clearances must be checked in some early Evolution engines without notched pistons
H310-2 GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Designed for increased cubic inch/compression engines
- Valve clearance must be checked and performance springs are necessary for a higher lift
- Shows off head and carb work
H314-S GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Camshaft for large-displacement, performance-oriented engines
- Will provide maximum street and strip performance
FOR 48-84 SHOVELHEAD, PANHEAD- On late 77 and later engines, the pitch diameter on the camshaft, pinion gear and breather valve gear was changed. These components are not interchangeable with earlier style components unless replaced in sets only. Late 77 and later gear sets are identified by a circular groove machined in the outer face of the cam gear
288B GRIND, MECHANICAL- Bolt-in performance with increased mid-range and top-end horsepower
- Utilizes stock springs, carb and exhaust, without requiring an increased compression ratio
H288-B GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Recommended for increased torque in big bikes with heavy loads; provides bolt-in performance throughout the power range
- Bolt in, no spring change is required, and they work well with stock carbs and exhaust
H288-2B GRIND, HYDRAULIC- Increase horsepower throughout therpm range
- Bolt-in mild performance with stock springs, carb and exhaust or performance exhaust system
298B GRIND, MECHANICAL- Bolt-in increase in mid-range and top-end horsepower
- Works well with high-performance carb and exhaust systems
- Can be used with stock springs
- Check spring travel, piston-to-valve and valve-to-valve clearances
H298-2B GRIND, HYDRAULIC- A performance cam to be used with Drag Specialties exhaust and air cleaner or other performance products
- Increases mid-range and top-end horsepower
- Some engines with thick valve seats and/or thick valve heads may have a valve-to-valve clearance problem with this cam. Be sure to check spacing between the valves during installation
304B GRIND, MECHANICAL- Street or high-performance cam
- Increased compression ratio and/or cubic inches required
- Must change valve springs and check spring travel, piston-to-valve and valve-to-valve clearances
OEM REPLACEMENT CAM, HYDRAULIC- Stock specification hydraulic camshaft for the restoration of early Big Twin, replaces H-grind cam
