If you ride in the Middle Tennessee area... you’ve no doubt heard about the Boswell’s Toy Parade benefitting Metro Nashville Police Department’s Christmas Charities. It’s one of the largest charity rides in the mid-south and brings out riders from many states who make a big difference in the lives of local children through the MNPD Christmas Basket Program.

Boswell’s Harley-Davidson started this annual tradition 27 years ago and it is still near and dear to the hearts of Bubba and Betsy Boswell.

“Middle Tennessee is loaded with great and caring motorcycle riders and we are proud that our organization has helped mobilize them to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for this worthy cause.” said Bubba Boswell, President of the Nashville based Boswell’s Harley-Davidson.

2020 was a tough year for the event thanks to a global pandemic... but we were still able to raise a significant amount of money and toys. But now we are back... and we want to make the 2021 Toy Parade the biggest one we’ve ever had.

Will you help us? There are two ways you can make a difference.

First... please join us on November 6. All riders from all walks of life are welcome and encouraged to attend. And any donation is acceptable.

Second... please help us spread the word about this event. You can share by word of mouth, Facebook... or even share the link to this page. No matter how small or large it may be... everyone has a sphere of influence and we need everyone to help spread the word.

About MNPD Christmas Charities: The Metro Police Christmas Charities is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that has been serving Davidson County since 1961. Families are selected based on recommendations from police officers. Metro Police officers encounter numerous disadvantaged families on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we cannot provide for them all therefore we give careful consideration when choosing the neediest families. Thrifty, bulk buying allows for large quantities of basic foods to be purchased. Each family receives 4 bushel baskets of groceries and the children receive toys. Christmas Eve morning employees of the department arrive very early to deliver the baskets. This has become a wonderful Christmas tradition for many police families.
